The cheaper version, simply “Ability Office”, has 3 programs: a word processor, a presentation program and a spreadsheet program (roughly corresponding to Microsoft’s Word, PowerPoint and Excel programs). There are 2 versions of Ability Office available. This can make it easier for those weaned on Microsoft Office programs to switch to Ability software. Largely compatible with native Microsoft Office formats such as DOC and DOCX for word processing software, it also offers users the choice to switch from the traditional Ability Office interface in its applications to a ribbon-style Microsoft-like UI.
